Stock Market Today: Nifty, Sensex Snap Six-Week Losing Streak; Wipro, Eternal Top Gainers

Infosys and HDFC Bank Ltd. were top contributors to the NSE Nifty 50 and Reliance Industries Ltd. and Tata Steel Ltd. were top detractor in the NSE Nifty 50 index.

The Nifty 50 and Sensex ended flat with positive bias. Wipro India Ltd., Eternal Ltd., and HDFC Life Insurance Co were top gainers in the Nifty 50. The indices remained stuck in the narrow range most time of the session as traders avoided placing large bets before the impending meeting between US and Russia leaders. Markets will be closed on Friday for Independence Day celebration.
