Nifty Top Gainers And Losers On March 7: From RIL, Nestle To IndusInd Bank, NTPC
The NSE Nifty 50 ended 7.8 points or 0.03% higher at 22,552.5, while the BSE Sensex closed 7.51 points or 0.01% down at 74,332.58.
Shares of Reliance Industries Ltd. and Nestle India Ltd. were the top gainers on Friday, while IndusInd Bank Ltd. and NTPC Ltd. were the top laggards on the NSE Nifty 50.
The Nifty ended 7.8 points or 0.03% higher at 22,552.5, while the BSE Sensex closed 7.51 points or 0.01% down at 74,332.58.
RIL gained as much as 3.74% during the day and closed 3.09% higher at Rs 1,247 apiece. Nestle's share price rose 2.04% to Rs 2,246 apiece before paring gains to trade at 1.67% higher at market close.
Shares of Bharat Electronics Ltd. gained 2.48% to trade at Rs 279.73 before it pared gains to trade 1.48% higher at Rs 276.99 at market close. Bajaj Auto Ltd.'s shares price also gained in Friday's trade as they soared 2.17%, while shares of Hindalco Industries Ltd. also gained as much as 1.85%.
Shares of IndusInd Bank declined over 3.95% to trade at Rs 933, while NTPC's share price declined over 2.72% to trade at Rs 328 apiece. Shriram Finance Ltd.'s shares declined 2.62%. Shares of HCL Technologies Ltd. and Infosys Ltd. declined as much as 1.73% and 2.35% respectively.
