ICICI Securities Report
Private life insurers reported robust growth of 34% / 28% YoY and 14.5% / 6.8% month-on-month in November 2021 in terms of total annual premium equivalent / individual APE.
Year-to-date, individual / total APE for them is up 30% each. Thus, despite the two Covid-19 waves, premium growth remains on a strong trajectory.
Number of policies for all insurers has also grown by a robust 10% in FY22-to-date.
