Infosys Final Dividend 2025 Record Date This Week: Check Amount, Payment Date And More

Shares of Infosys Ltd. will trade ex-dividend this week. The company has announced a significant dividend payout for its shareholders following its Q4 FY25 results.

Infosys Dividend 2025: Amount

The country's second-largest IT services company last month announced a final dividend of Rs 22 per share for the financial year ended March 31, 2025.

The final dividend represents a 440% payout on each equity share of a face value of Rs 5.

To determine the eligibility of shareholders for this dividend, Infosys has fixed the record date as May 30. This will also serve as the ex-date.

"The record date for the purpose of the Annual General Meeting and payment of final dividend is May 30, 2025," the company said.

Infosys Dividend 2025: Payment Date

As per the company’s communication to exchanges, the dividend amount will be credited to the eligible shareholders on June 30, 2025. "The dividend will be paid on June 30, 2025," Infosys informed the bourses in a filing.

Infosys Dividend: History

Infosys has been consistent in rewarding its investors. According to data available on the BSE website:

  • In 2024, Infosys paid dividends on three occasions, including a special dividend, with the total payout amounting to Rs 49 per share.

  • In 2023, the dividend stood at Rs 35.5 per share.

  • In 2022, it was Rs 32.5 per share.

  • In 2021, it was Rs 30 per share.

  • Infosys currently has a dividend yield of 3.1% per share.

  • The stock has given a 6.3% return in the last year.

  • Over a five-year period, Infosys has delivered a multibagger return of 126.5% to its investors.

At 9:48 a.m. on Tuesday, Infosys shares were trading 0.8% down at Rs 1,566.60 apiece on the NSE. This compares to a 0.8% fall in the benchmark Nifty 50.

Infosys Dividend 2025: Tax Implications

Under the Indian Income Tax Act, 1961, dividends are taxable in the hands of shareholders. Infosys is required to deduct tax at source (TDS) at applicable rates:

Resident Shareholders:

10% TDS with valid PAN.

20% TDS without PAN.

Non-Resident Shareholders:

TDS as per applicable rates under the Income Tax Act or relevant Tax Treaty.

Shareholders are advised to ensure their PAN and other details are updated with their depository participants or the company's registrar, KFin Technologies Limited. To avail benefits under the Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement (DTAA), non-resident shareholders must also submit necessary documents, including the Tax Residency Certificate (TRC) and Form 10F, by June 6 of this year through the shareholder portal.
