FPIs Turn Net Sellers After Two Days

Foreign portfolio investors offloaded stocks worth Rs 111 crore, according to provisional data from the NSE.

Overseas investors in Indian equities turned net sellers on Tuesday, after two days, and offloaded stocks worth Rs 111 crore, according to provisional data from the National Stock Exchange.

On the other hand, domestic investors stayed net buyers for two straight sessions and mopped up equities worth Rs 3,193.3 crore.

Foreign institutions have been net sellers of Rs 29,935 crore worth of Indian equities so far in 2024, according to data from the National Securities Depository Ltd., updated till the previous trading day.

The NSE Nifty 50 rose 5.65 points up, or 0.02%, to 23,264.85, while the S&P BSE Sensex fell 33.49 points, or 0.04%, to 76,456.59.
