FPIs Stay Net Sellers For 11th Straight Session, Offload Equities Worth Rs 2,377 Crore
On the previous day, the FPIs had net offloaded equities worth Rs 2,371.47 crore.

Foreign portfolio investors continued to remain net sellers of Indian equities for the 11th straight session on Thursday as they net offloaded stocks worth approximately Rs 2,377.32 crore.
Domestic institutional investors stayed net buyers for the 21st straight session as they bought equities worth Rs 1,617.80 crore, according to provisional data from the National Stock Exchange. In the previous day, the FPIs had offloaded equities worth Rs 2,371.47 crore.
In February, the FPIs net offloaded equities worth Rs 34,574 crore, according to the National Securities Depository Ltd.'s data. This was preceded by net selling of Rs 78,027 crore in January.
In 2025 so far, the overseas investors have net sold equities worth Rs 1.34 lakh crore, the NSDL data showed.
The benchmark equity market indices ended in green for the second straight session on Thursday. The NSE Nifty 50 rose to hit the 22,500-mark again after five sessions, whereas the BSE Sensex reclaimed the 74,000-mark.
The Nifty 50 ended 207.4 points or 0.93% higher at 22,544.7, while the Sensex closed 609.8 points or 0.83% higher at 74,340.09.
The immediate support for Nifty 50 is placed at 22,350, according to Rajesh Bhosale, technical analyst at Angel One Ltd. "For the week's final session, a close above the previous week’s high of 22,700 would be ideal to build momentum for the next leg of the rally in the coming week," he added.
