To be eligible for dividends, investors should take note of the record date, which determines shareholder eligibility.
Under India's T+1 settlement cycle, shares purchased on the record date itself will not qualify for the dividend payment. The ex-dividend date, which falls before the record date, marks when the share price adjusts to reflect the upcoming payout.

Amongst the 27 companies issuing dividends in the coming week, HDFC Asset Management Ltd., has recommended the highest final dividend at Rs 90, followed by Nuvama Wealth Management Ltd. at Rs 69 and L&T Technology Ltd. at Rs 38.

HDFC Asset Management
HDFC Asset Management's board has recommended a final dividend of Rs 90 per equity share of Rs 5 each for the financial year 2025. The record date to determine the eligible shareholder is set for June 6.
Shares of the company closed 1.28% lower at Rs 4,783 per share, compared to 0.33% decline at the NSE Nifty 50 on Friday.
L&T Technology Services
L&T Technology Services is one of the leading information technology consulting companies in India. The company has announced a final dividend of Rs 38 per share with a face value of Rs 2 each and the record date to determine the eligible shareholder is set for June 6.
Shares of the company closed 1.25% lower at Rs 4,365 per share, compared to a 0.33% decline at the NSE Nifty 50 on Friday.
TCS
IT giant Tata Consultancy Services has announced an interim dividend of Rs 30 per share and the record date to determine the eligible shareholder is set for June 4.
Shares of the company closed 1.09% lower at Rs 3,460 per share, compared to a 0.33% decline at the NSE Nifty 50 on Friday.
IndiaMart IndiaMesh
IndiaMart IndiaMesh proposed a dividend of Rs 50 apiece for the financial year 2024-25. The dividend comprises a final dividend of Rs 30 per share and a special dividend of Rs 20 apiece; the record date to determine the eligible shareholder is set for June 6.
Shares of the company closed 0.09% higher at Rs 2,328 per share on Friday.
