Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda are all set to get married on February 26, with the 'muhurtham' scheduled for 8 am in Udaipur. As the couple prepares to begin a new chapter in their lives, glimpses from their 'haldi' ceremony offer a preview of the intimate and thoughtfully planned wedding festivities.
The 'haldi' function was held in an open-air setting that evoked a serene floral garden. At the centre was a circular space bordered with wooden panels and covered in soft pink rose petals. Two wooden stools were placed for the ceremony, while baskets filled with bright yellow and orange marigolds surrounded the space, adding a traditional and vibrant touch. Floral arrangements in the backdrop enhanced the sunlit, festive mood.
The décor also reflected the couple's personal style. Custom floral name placards reading 'Rushie' and 'Vijay' were placed among fresh lilies, roses and marigolds, giving the setup a romantic and intimate feel. Rashmika shared another corner of the venue that featured cane chairs arranged around a table dressed in a yellow-and-white floral cloth, complete with wooden chargers, neatly folded napkins and colourful centrepieces that stayed true to the 'haldi' palette.
A standout element of the celebration was a playful tribute to their pet dogs, Storm and Aura. A charming illustrated backdrop showing the two on a sunset drive added a warm and personal detail to the function. Bright 'pichkaaris' and pops of colour around the venue brought in a subtle Holi-inspired vibe, making the daytime ceremony feel even more lively.

The wedding celebrations have been planned as a close-knit affair with around 100 guests, including family members, close friends and colleagues from the film industry. Filmmakers Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Rahul Ravindran and Tharun Bhascker, along with actors Eesha Rebba and Ashika Ranganath, are among those who have arrived in Udaipur. 'Lokah' actor Kalyani Priyadarshan, who is also one of the guests, captured the fun spirit of the gathering and shared it on her Instagram Story.
The couple will honour both their traditions by hosting two ceremonies — a Telugu wedding for Vijay's family and a Kodava ceremony for Rashmika's side. The pre-wedding events also featured a friendly cricket match between the two families, called the 'Virosh Premier League', and a lively 'sangeet' night. The celebrations will conclude with a grand reception in Hyderabad on March 4.
