Half Of India’s Startups Say Bureaucratic Inefficiency Biggest Challenge In 2018

More than half of India's startups see corruption or bureaucratic inefficiency as their single biggest challenge going into next year.

For the rest, funding and demand are key risks for business in 2018, according to a survey conducted by LocalCircles which sought responses from more than 33,000 startups and entrepreneurs from different parts of India.

Nearly a third of India's startups said the Goods and Services Tax impacted their business positively while nearly 50 percent said the government's note ban in 2016 was bad for business.
