(Bloomberg) -- Britain is generating a record amount of electricity from natural gas to send to France where prices are surging. French prices for Wednesday climbed to the highest since November as temperatures are forecast to fall below zero, boosting electricity demand. The U.K. is exporting electricity to France for most of the day apart from peak times through the 2,000-megawatt interconnector cable linking the countries.
