Zensar Tech Mulls Proposing Declaration Of Interim Dividend For FY 2024-25

Zensar Technologies Ltd. announced on Thursday that it would be considering declaring an interim dividend for the financial year 2024-25, according to an exchange filing from the firm.
A decision will be taken at the meeting of the company's board of directors on Jan. 22, 2025. The board will also discuss, approve and take on record the unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter and nine months ended Dec. 31, 2024.
The interim dividend, if declared, is to be paid to the equity shareholders of the company whose names appear on the register of members of the company or in the records of the depositories as beneficial owners of the shares as on the record date.
Jan. 24, 2025, is the record date fixed for this move.
The trading window for dealing in securities of the firm is closed from Jan. 1, 2025 and will open 48 hours after the declaration of the third quarter of fiscal 2024-25 and financial results of the company, unless the firm says otherwise.
Zensar Technologies is a technology solutions company with a focus on engineering technology. Headquartered in Pune, and is a part of RPG Group, it serves over 145 global clients and has been a public-listed company for over 50 years.
Shares of Zensar Technologies fell as much as 2.75% during the day to Rs 767.20 apiece on the National Stock Exchange. It closed 1.65% lower at Rs 775.90 per share, compared to a 0.69 % decline in the benchmark Nifty.
Eight out of the twelve analysts tracking the company have a 'buy' rating on the stock and three suggest 'hold', with one suggesting a 'sell' according to Bloomberg data. The average of 12-month analysts' price targets implies a potential upside of 18.6%.
