India's wholesale prices fell for a 15th straight month in January, declining an annual 0.9 per cent, driven down by tumbling oil prices, government data showed on Monday.
The pace of fall was higher than the 0.73 per cent annual decline in December.
The wholesale fuel prices dropped 9.21 per cent from a year ago in January, while prices of manufactured goods declined 1.17 per cent year on year.
Food prices gained 6.02 per cent year-on-year in January, easing from 8.17 per cent rise in December.
