Vivimed Labs rallied as much as 12 per cent to hit fresh 52-week high of Rs 115 after ace investor Ashish Kacholia bought significant number of shares of the company.
As per the data available on the National Stock Exchange (NSE), Ashish Kacholia bought 1.37 million shares of Vivimed Labs at an average price of Rs 90.50 per share, representing 1.7 per cent stake in the pharma company on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Nylim Jacob Ballas India Fund had sold 4.87 milion shares of Vivimed Labs in an open market transaction yesterday.
RBA Finance & Investment also bought 2.2 million shares or 2.74 per cent stake in the company at price of Rs 90.50 per share.
Meanwhile, Vivimed Labs shares also saw heavy trading volumes in trades today. As many as 2.5 million shares changed hands on the BSE compared with an average of 4.6 lakh shares traded daily in the past two weeks.
Vivimed Labs shares ended 9.5 per cent higher at Rs 112.60.
