Share of Varroc Engineering Ltd soared 20 per cent on Friday to its highest in over two years to Rs 494.60 after the auto components' maker said it would divest its 4-wheeler lighting systems operations in the Americas and Europe.
Indeed, Varroc Engineering jumped 20 per cent to hit Rs 494.60 per share, its highest since January 2020. It was last up over 16 per cent to trade at 479.70.
The auto component maker Varroc Engineering said on Friday it will divest its four-wheeler lighting business in the Americas and Europe to France's Compagnie Plastic Omnium for 600 million euros ($630.96 million).
