New Delhi: Jaypee Infratech on Friday registered a standalone net loss of Rs 88.8 crore for the quarter ended March 2016.
The company had clocked a net profit of Rs 96.3 crore in the year-ago period, Jaypee Infratech said in a filing to BSE.
"During the year, due to slowdown in the economy and resultant subdued demand of real estate in the NCR region, the launch and sales of new projects, including bulk land, had been negatively impacted," the company said.
The total income from operations of the company increased to Rs 1,196.4 crore as against Rs 823.4 crore in the same quarter of 2014-15.
The shares of the company were trading 1.05 per cent down at Rs 5.68 on BSE.
