New Delhi: State-owned financial institution IFCI on Thursday said it has sold its 1.64 per cent stake in Welspun Syntex Ltd for about Rs 1.6 crore.
IFCI in a statement said it has sold 6,43,080 equity shares in Welspun Syntex Ltd on Wednesday through secondary market.
On the BSE, shares in Welspun Syntex ended at Rs 25 per unit on Wednesday.
Welspun Syntex is the flagship company under the Welspun umbrella. Set-up in 1983, it is amongst the largest manufacturers and exporters of polyester texturised filament yarn, nylon filament yarn.
Shares in the company, on Thursday, ended at Rs 24.45 apiece on the BSE, down 0.20 per cent from the previous close.
