FMCG giant Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL) today announced changes in senior level management with Hemant Bakshi being appointed as Executive Director Home & Personal Care following resignation of Gopal Vittal, who was with the company for 21 years.
The company also said Manish Tiwary, currently Vice President- Modern Trade has been appointed as Executive Director Sales and Customer Development.
Bakshi currently holds the post of Executive Director Sales and Customer Development in the company, HUL said in a statement.
He succeeds Vittal, who is leaving HUL to pursue an external opportunity, it added.
Commenting on the development HUL Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Nitin Paranjpe said: "Gopal has contributed significantly to building the marketing leadership capability of HUL. I would like to thank Gopal for his invaluable contribution in his 21 years of service with HUL."
With this appointment, Manish joins the Management Committee, the top executive team of HUL, the company said.
Paranjpe further said that Manish has contributed significantly to developing the capability of HUL's modern trade team delivering record growth for the company through this channel.
