The Nifty can close above 8,100 on Friday amid benign global cues. Overnight, the European Central Bank stunned markets by cutting interest rates and embarking on a trillion-euro asset-buying binge.
Weakness in oil and gold prices and resolution of Ukraine/Russia stand-off will improve sentiment globally.
For today, the following calls with a four to five-day trading outlook may do well,
1) Buy Adani Enterprises: 510-516, stop loss 498, target 545
2) Buy LIC Housing: 317-322, stop loss 309, target 343
Investment call for next 3 months;
JP Associates: Buy around 36-38, three-month target 57-60 -- The stock is under pressure due to promoter selling with late disclosures. The stock has been under pressure due to highly leveraged balance sheet and corporate governance issues. However, the company is selling assets to reduce debt. The book value is close to 57 and the value of assets is greater than what market cap the stock is now trading at.
