There have been reports mentioning the fast food chain's plans to enter the Indian market through a franchising partnership with a company majority-owned by private equity firm Everstone, and that its India venture will be spearheaded by Rajeev Varman, the chief executive of Burger King in the UK.. The company, however, did not directly confirm or deny any such media report..
