Aamir Khan-starrer PK is off to a strong start at the domestic box office, collecting nearly Rs 90 crore in its first three days, according to a report from trade website Koimoi.com.
PK is expected to continue is strong momentum in the absence of any major release in the next few weeks. Positive reviews and word-of-mouth publicity is expected to also boost the box office performance of PK.
Directed by Rajkumar Hirani and produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, the film released on Friday.
PK also stars Anushka Sharma, Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjay Dutt.
Trade analyst Girish Johar expects PK to touch the Rs 100 crore mark on Monday, just four days of its release. "PK has very high chances of reaching the 100cr mark at domestic BO today, in just 4 days, just like Dhoom3 & Happy New Year," he tweeted. (With Agency Inputs)
