Auto Expo 2025: Tata Motors Unveils Sierra ICE, Harrier EV, And Avinya X

The Sierra ICE SUV is expected to compete in the compact SUV segment, against rivals like the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and Kia Seltos.

Tata Motors India Ltd. has launched the Sierra ICE, Harrier EV, and Avinya X concept at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 in New Delhi. The Sierra ICE is a modern reinterpretation of the iconic Sierra nameplate. This concept SUV has been developed with distinctive design elements, specific to internal combustion engines or ICEs, while retaining the signature styling of the original Sierra.

The SUV is expected to compete in the compact SUV segment, going up against rivals like the Hyundai's Creta, Maruti Suzuki's Grand Vitara and Kia's Seltos.

The SUV is available in both ICE and electric variants. Tata is likely to launch the Sierra ICE later this year, though the timeline is unspecified.

Additionally, Tata Motors unveiled the Harrier EV, the company's first mid-size electric SUV. Scheduled for launch later this year, the Harrier EV is set to compete with models such as the Mahindra XUV.e9 and BYD Atto 3 in the premium EV segment.

The company has also unveiled Avinya X, a bold leap into the future of luxury mobility that expands on Avinya’s commitment to sustainability, innovation, and well-being.

The leading Indian carmaker did not divulge any details on prices for the cars on Friday.
