Tuesday marks the 32nd day of the US, Israel-Iran conflict. US President Donald Trump said "great progress is being made" in talks with Iran to end military operations. But he said if a deal is not reached "shortly," and if the Strait of Hormuz is not immediately reopened, the US would broaden its offensive by “completely obliterating” power plants, oil wells, Kharg Island and possibly even desalination plants.

The US already has targeted military positions on Kharg. Iran has threatened to launch its own ground invasion of Gulf Arab countries and mine the Persian Gulf if US troops set foot on its territory. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei said Tehran had received a 15-point proposal from the Trump administration containing “excessive, unrealistic and irrational” demands, while denying there had been any direct talks.

Here are the latest updates on the US-Israel-Iran war.

Iran War Live Updates: US Strikes City Home To Iranian Nuclear Site

US strikes hit a city that is home to one of Iran's main nuclear sites, sending a massive fireball into the sky, and Tehran attacked a fully loaded Kuwaiti oil tanker in the Persian Gulf.

The attacks were a testament to the intensity of the war more than a month after the US and Israel launched their first strikes. The conflict has left more than 3,000 dead and caused major disruptions to the world's supply of oil and natural gas. On Tuesday, the average price of gasoline in the US shot past USD 4 a gallon — just another sign of the war's effects far beyond the Middle East.

The defence ministers of Italy and France expressed “deep and profound concern” Tuesday over the deteriorating security in Lebanon.

The joint statement by Guido Crosetto and Catherine Vautrin made particular reference to recent attacks targeting personnel from the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon.

They stressed the “unacceptability of such incidents and the increasing risks faced by the personnel deployed in the mission”, the statement said.

The ministers agreed on the strategic importance of UNIFIL, saying Lebanon's stability constitutes “an indispensable pillar for the balance of the entire Mediterranean basin”.

They confirmed Italy and France will continue operating in close coordination to ensure the safety of international personnel, the protection of peace and support for Lebanese authorities.

Masoud Pezeshkian thanked Iraq for standing with Iran, saying their bond goes beyond geography – it's rooted in shared history, identity, and faith.

In a post he wrote, "The Muslim people of Iraq stood bravely alongside Iran in this unjust war; a stance not imposed by geography, but forged by the unity of history, identity, and religious values. I warmly shake the hands of the sons of the Iraqi people, the officials, and the mujahideen in the land of the two rivers. We value your steadfastness and take pride in our shared covenant."

Iran War Live Updates: Peacekeepers Killed In Lebanon

The UN Security Council planned to convene an emergency session Tuesday after officials said three peacekeepers in southern Lebanon had been killed in less than 24 hours. The UN peacekeeping mission in the region where Israel is battling the Iran-backed Hezbollah did not say who was responsible for the deaths.

In Iran, authorities say more than 1,900 people have been killed, while 19 have been reported dead in Israel. Two dozen people have been killed in Gulf states and the occupied West Bank. In Lebanon, officials said more than 1,200 people have been killed, and more than 1 million have been displaced.

Iran War Live Updates: Israel And US Launch New Wave Of Strikes On Iran

Israel and the US launched a new wave of strikes on Iran, hitting Tehran in the early morning hours. The video shared by Trump appeared to show a massive attack on Isfahan, where NASA fire-tracking satellites suggest the explosions happened near Mount Soffeh, an area believed to have military positions. Iran has not yet confirmed the attack.

A satellite image taken just before the 12-day in June between Iran and Israel suggests Tehran transferred a truckload of highly enriched uranium to its nuclear facility at Isfahan.

The image from an Airbus Defence and Space Pléiades Neo satellite shows a truck loaded with 18 blue containers going into a tunnel at the Isfahan Nuclear Technology Centre about two weeks before the US bombed the site.

Iran War Live Updates: Mahan Air Plane Damaged In US Strike

A US airstrike at Iran's Mashhad airport damaged a Mahan Air aircraft, potentially disrupting a mission to India to collect humanitarian aid, Iranian officials claimed. US officials have not yet corroborated the claim.

Iran's Foreign Ministry official Seyed Abbas Araghchi is reiterating that Iran's actions are not targeted at Saudi Arabia but rather at US forces they perceive as aggressors.

Iran War Live Updates: Oil-Thirsty Asian Nations Seek Russian Crude

Asian nations are increasingly competing for Russian crude oil as an energy crisis mounts amid the month-old war by the US and Israel against Iran, which has choked off roughly a fifth of the world's oil supply. Much of the oil from the mostly shut Strait of Hormuz was headed for Asia, hit hardest by recent energy shocks. Over the weekend, Iran-backed Houthi rebels entered the conflict, further threatening shipping.

Demand is rising in Asia while Russia is raking in billions of dollars. But experts say there is a limit to how much Moscow can boost its exports of crude oil, which is unrefined petroleum needed to make fuels like gasoline and diesel, and it is already exporting at a level close to its previous peak.

Iran War Live Updates: Gulf Allies Privately Make Case To Trump

Gulf allies of the United States are arguing that Tehran hasn't been weakened enough by the monthlong US-led bombing campaign, according to US, Gulf and Israeli officials.

Officials from Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and Bahrain have conveyed in private conversations that they do not want the military operation to end until there are significant changes in the Iranian leadership or there's a dramatic shift in Iranian behaviour, according to the officials, who were not authorized to comment publicly and spoke on the condition of anonymity.

While regional leaders are broadly supportive now of the US efforts, one Gulf diplomat described some division, with Saudi Arabia and the UAE leading the calls for increasing military pressure on Tehran.

The UAE has emerged as perhaps the most hawkish of the Gulf countries and is pushing hard for Trump to order a ground invasion, the diplomat said.

The army said and is reviewing them to determine whether the deaths resulted from Hezbollah activity or Israeli fire, noting that “these incidents occurred in an active combat area.”

The statement comes after UNIFIL said three peacekeepers have been killed in southern Lebanon within 24 hours in two separate instances.

An explosion of “unknown origin” on Monday destroyed a vehicle near the village of Bani Hayyan, killing two peacekeepers and wounding two others, including one with severe injuries. Earlier, an Indonesian peacekeeper was killed after a base was hit by a projectile.
