"The criminal and terrorist act of the malicious governments of the United States and the Zionist regime constitutes a clear violation of religious, moral, legal, and international norms. Therefore, the hand of vengeance of the Iranian nation, in imposing severe, decisive, and regret-inducing punishment upon the killers of the Imam of the Ummah, will not release them from its grasp," the statement added.
"We extend our condolences and congratulations on the proud martyrdom of the devout scholar, the standard-bearer of the martyrs of the Islamic Revolution, the leader of the martyrs among those awaiting the Promised One, and the rightful deputy of His Holiness Imam al-Mahdi (may God hasten his reappearance), Imam Khamenei (may God’s mercy be upon him), during the blessed month of Ramadan — to the Imam of the Age (may our souls be sacrificed for him), the Muslim Ummah, the esteemed religious authorities and scholars, and the great nation of Iran.
Almighty God accepted this great striving soul and pure descendant of Lady Fatimah (peace be upon her), just as He accepted his exemplar, the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali (peace be upon him), in the blessed month of Ramadan, granting him the grace of martyrdom. We have lost a great leader and sit in mourning for one who, in purity of spirit, strength of faith, wisdom in governance, courage before the arrogant powers, and striving in the path of God, was unparalleled in his era. His martyrdom at the hands of the most wicked terrorists and executioners of humanity is itself a sign of the righteousness of this great leader and the acceptance of his sincere services.
Martyrdom in the path of Islam and great Iran is a sign of victory and nearness to the ultimate goal. With the martyrdom and return to God of Imam Khamenei (may God be pleased with him), his path and legacy will not cease; rather, they will continue with greater strength and magnificence. This martyrdom will make our nation even more resolute in continuing the luminous path of our beloved Imam Khamenei."

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu Statement:
"My brothers and sisters, citizens of Israel, just an hour ago Israel and the USA launched an operation to remove the existential threat posed by the terror regime in Iran. I thank our great friend President Donald Trump for his historic leadership. For 47 years, the Ayatollah regime has been shouting 'Death to Israel,' 'Death to America.' It has spilled our blood, murdered many Americans, and massacred its own people.
This murderous terror regime must not be armed with nuclear weapons that would allow it to threaten all humanity. Our joint action will create the conditions for the brave Iranian people to take their fate into their own hands.
The time has come for all parts of the Iranian people - Persians, Kurds, Azeris, Balochs, and Ahwazis - to cast off the yoke of tyranny and bring about a free and peace-loving Iran. I call on you, citizens of Israel, to heed the Home Front Command's instructions. In the coming days, during Operation 'Roar of the Lion,' we will all be required to show endurance and strength of spirit.
Together we will stand, together we will fight, and together we will ensure the eternity of Israel."
