Vivo is gearing up for the Indian debut of its smartphones — the Vivo X200 FE and Vivo X Fold 5 — with the launch scheduled for July 14. Both devices were already launched in China and Taiwan last month. Now, with the Indian rollout imminent, microsites for the phones have gone live across online platforms including Vivo India’s official website, Flipkart and Amazon.
Vivo X200 FE
As per Gizmochina, the Vivo X200 FE is designed for users seeking power and elegance in a lightweight frame. The handset sports a 6.31-inch display, measures just 0.799 cm in thickness and weighs 186 grams. It is powered by MediaTek’s latest Dimensity 9300 Plus chipset, which features a peak clock speed of 3.4GHz and an all-big-core (4+4) CPU architecture for better performance.
Available in three colour variants — Amber Yellow, Frost Blue and Luxe Grey — the X200 FE is built to withstand the elements with IP68 and IP69 ratings, ensuring dust and water resistance.
Imaging Capabilities
Vivo continues its partnership with ZEISS for camera hardware on the X200 FE. The rear camera module includes a 50MP main sensor (Sony IMX921) with f/1.88 aperture and optical image stabilisation, a 50MP telephoto lens using Sony’s IMX882 ultra-sensitive sensor, and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle shooter offering a 120-degree field of view.
The phone supports ZEISS Multifocal Portrait modes with focal lengths ranging from 23mm to 85mm and comes with ZEISS-style Bokeh filters for professional-grade photography. It is backed by a 6,500mAh battery and supports 90W FlashCharge for rapid top-ups, Gizmochina reported.
Vivo X Fold 5
Also part of the upcoming launch is the Vivo X Fold 5, a foldable smartphone that combines innovation with productivity-focused features. According to Gizmochina, the device weighs 217 grams and features a dual-cell 6000mAh battery. Charging is supported through 80W wired and 40W wireless options, thanks to the use of second-generation semi-solid electrolyte cells and fourth-generation silicon anodes.
Vivo claims the X Fold 5 can deliver up to 80.6 hours of music playback, 13.2 hours of online conferencing, and a standby time of nearly nine days.
Triple Camera Setup
The X Fold 5 houses a ZEISS-powered triple rear camera array. The setup includes a 50MP telephoto lens (Sony IMX882) with a 70mm focal length and f/2.5 aperture, a 50MP Ultra-Sensing VCS Bionic main camera (Sony IMX921) with f/1.57 aperture and 23mm focal length, and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera (JN1) offering a 120-degree field of view. All lenses come equipped with advanced autofocus and optical image stabilisation.
Additional features include freeze resistance up to -20°C, AI-powered productivity tools such as Smart Office and Magic Move via AI Image Studio, and a dedicated shortcut button for fast access to apps.
