Samsung Galaxy S25 FE May See Minor Camera Upgrade — Check Features, Launch Timeline, Pricing In India

Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy S25 FE (fan edition) later this year, and new leaks and reports are continuing to offer a picture of what's in store for the fans. Details have emerged as to its processor, camera, launch timeline and more.

According to a recent report, the S25 FE would include an improved front camera, which is good news for the fans. In contrast to the S24 FE's 10MP camera, the S25 FE will have 12MP selfie shooter and possibly the same camera as the one on other Galaxy S25 models.

However, the 50MP primary camera will likely be the same, and a latest report indicates that the S25 FE will pack the same 8MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom as the S24 FE. For those expecting the new FE to come closer to the S25 series, this news will definitely be a disappointment.

According to a Geekbench listing and reports, there is likely to be a slight upgrade in the chipset. While the S24 FE packs a Exynos 2400e SoC, the S25 FE could be powered by the "full" Exynos 2400 chipset.

However, Samsung could reserve a MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset in some regions. The S25 FE will likely run on Android 16-based One UI 8 and come with 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage.

A 6.7-inch Amoled display with a refresh rate of 120Hz might be included in the S25 FE. The phone may house a 4,700mAh battery with 25W charging capability. 

It is estimated that the Galaxy S25 FE will launch in September or October, which is almost a full year after the S24 FE. It might come alongside the Galaxy Z Flip7 FE, the first Fan Edition foldable from the Samsung stable.

This means Samsung might wish to host an event that is exclusive to FEs in the autumn, although details are thin.

The Galaxy S25 FE could come with a price tag of Rs 50,000–55,000 in India. The current Galaxy S24 FE costs around Rs 36,000.
