Samsung Galaxy M36 5G Launched In India: Price, Where To Buy And Key Specifications

Samsung has launched its latest M-series smartphone, the Galaxy M36 5G, in India. While the phone is priced below Rs 23,000, with bank discounts, you can get it for less than Rs 17,000.

It comes with an AMOLED display and a triple rear camera. Here’s a look at the key specifications and pricing details of the phone. 

The Samsung Galaxy M36 5G runs on an Exynos 1380 processor and has up to 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of onboard storage. It ships with Android 15-based One UI 7. It will receive six generations of Android upgrades and six years of security updates.

The device is equipped with a 6.7-inch full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,340 pixels) Super AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. Its screen comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus Plus protection.

The phone has a triple camera system on the rear. It has a 50 MP primary sensor with support for OIS. The device comes with a 12 MP ultrawide camera and a 5 MP macro camera. The phone features a 12 MP camera on the front. 4K video recording can be done with both the front and rear cameras. 

Samsung is providing a 5,000 mAh battery with 45W fast charging support on the phone. It has a thickness of 7.7 mm.

AI-powered image editing tools on the phone include Object Eraser, Image Clipper, and Edit Suggestions. The phone also has Circle-to-Search and AI Select features. For security purposes, it comes with the Knox Vault feature. 

The 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage variant of the phone costs Rs 22,999. At a discounted price after bank offers, the phone is available for Rs 16,999. 

Similarly, with a bank discount, the price of the 8 GB + 128 GB and 8 GB + 256 GB variants stands at Rs 17,999 and Rs 20,999, respectively. The phone is available in three colour options: Velvet Black, Serene Green and Orange Haze.

Shoppers in India can buy the phone on Amazon, the website of Samsung India and select retail outlets starting from July 12.
