Poco, formerly known as Poco by Xiaomi, unveiled two smartphones on Thursday. The X7 and X7 Pro mark one of the first major smartphone releases of 2025.
The Poco X7 and Poco X7 Pro are part of a series that aims to fill the mid-range market with flagship-level specs and performance.
Poco X7
The Poco X7 will be powered by the Xiaomi HyperOS software on Android 14 and features a 1.5K Amoled 3D curved display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and up to 3,000 nits peak brightness.
It also features WetTouch display 2.0 and an in-display fingerprint scanner, ensuring the phone can be used even with wet or oily fingers. The X7 will run on the MediaTek Dimensity 7,300 Ultra chipset. This processor is slated to deliver fast, efficient performance for gaming, multitasking or photo editing.
The phone will be powered by a 5,500 mAh battery with 45 W turbo charge. It will also feature a dual 50 MP Sony camera, coupled with Optical Image Stabilization and Electronic Image Stabilization. The model will also offer a host of AI tools that will help with better, more stable pictures and videos.
The Poco X7 will be available in three colours — Poco Yellow, Glacier Green and Cosmic Silver.
The 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage variant will be priced at Rs 19,999 and the 8 GB RAM + 256 GB variant will be priced at Rs 21,999. Both the variants will be available on Flipkart from Jan. 17.

Poco X7 Pro
The Poco X7 Pro is the first phone to come out with Xiaomi HyperOS 2.0 based on Android 15, and it will be run on the MediaTek Dimensity 8,400 Ultra processor, which is debuting globally with this device. It features a 6.67-inch Amoled flat display, offering a peak brightness of 3,200 nits, the brightest in its class.
This model will be powered by a 6,550 mAh battery that utilises silicon carbon technology with a 90 W turbo charge. With a clock speed of up to 3.25 GHz, this is Poco's most powerful phone to date. For photography enthusiasts, the X7 Pro will comprise a dual 50 MP Sony LYT-600 camera.
The Poco X7 Pro offers three years of Android updates and four years of security patches, guaranteeing users access to the latest features and robust protection.

The 8GB RAM + 256 GB storage variant will be priced at Rs 24,999. The 12GB RAM + 256 GB variant will be priced at Rs 26,999. Both the variants will be available on Flipkart from Jan 14.
