Mumbai pace-bowling allrounder Sayali Satghare announced herself on the Test stage in dramatic fashion, dismissing Australia's Georgia Voll with an absolute peach of a delivery to claim her maiden wicket in international red-ball cricket during the pink-ball Test in Perth.
Entrusted with the new ball on debut, the right-arm seamer needed just seven deliveries to make an impact. With Voll on strike, Satghare delivered a lethal inswinger that initially pitched outside the off-stump corridor before tailing sharply back into the right-hander and sneaking through the gap between bat and pad to crash into the top of leg stump.
A visibly pumped up Satghare celebrated the breakthrough in a style reminiscent of Virat Kohli, before being mobbed by her teammates.

From WPL Replacement To Test Debut
Earlier this year, Satghare went unsold at the WPL auction. Her year took an unexpected turn when she was called up as a last-minute replacement for Royal Challengers Bangalore's Australian star Ellyse Perry, who withdrew from the tournament for personal reasons.
Satghare made an immediate impact in the WPL, picking up eight wickets in her first three games and finishing with 10 wickets in the season as RCB won their second title.
The video of Satghare's wicket begun circulating across social media, with fans and analysts praising the late swing and movement generated under pink-ball conditions.

For the debutant, it was a perfect introduction to cricket's longest format. She didn't rest long on her laurels though as she quickly went on to pick up her second wicket of the night, getting the priced scalp of Alyssa Healy in the 20th over. The legendary Australia captain is making her final bow for the Baggy Greens in the Pink Ball test.
