As many as 130 companies are scheduled to declare their financial results for the quarter ended Dec. 31, 2024, on Tuesday, Feb. 4. These include some of the biggest names from key sectors of the Indian economy. Asian Paints’ Q2 revenue dropped by 5.3% to Rs 8,028 crore, compared to Rs 8,479 crore in the same period last year. Net profit saw a sharp decline of 44% to Rs 694 crore, down from Rs 1,232 crore last year.

• Ebitda plunged 28% to Rs 1,240 crore vs Rs 1,716 crore

• Margins at 15.4% vs 20.2%

Titan Company saw a 16% year-on-year growth in its Q2 revenue, rising to Rs 14,534 crore against Rs 12,529 crore in the same quarter last year. However, net profit declined by 23% YoY falling to Rs 704 crore from Rs 916 crore

• Revenue increased 16% to Rs 14,534 crore vs Rs 12,529 crore

• Net profit fell 23% to Rs 704 crore vs Rs 916 crore

• Ebitda down 12% to Rs 1,236 crore vs Rs 1,411 crore 

• Margin contracted 280 basis points to 8.5% vs 11.3%

Tata Power reported a 7% year-on-year increase in its Q2 net profit at Rs 1,093 crore, compared to Rs 1,017 crore in the same period last year. However, the company’s revenue declined by 1% YoY to Rs 15,247 crore in Q2, down from Rs 15,442 crore in the previous year.

• Revenue dipped 1% to Rs 15,247 crore vs Rs 15,442 crore

• Net profit up 7% to Rs 1,093 crore vs Rs 1,017 crore

• Ebitda increased 23% to Rs 3,808 crore vs Rs 3,087 crore

Divi’s Laboratories: Divi's Laboratories revenue rose by 25% year-on-year to Rs 2,319 crore, up from Rs 1,855 crore in the same quarter last year. The company's net profit significantly increased by 64.5%, reaching Rs 589 crore, compared to Rs 358 crore in Q3 last year.

Premier Energies: Premier Energies increased its net profit nearly six times to Rs 255.20 crore as compared to Rs 43.20 crore in the same quarter last year.  Revenue surged to Rs 1,713 crore in Q3 up from Rs 712.4 crore in the corresponding quarter of last fiscal year.
