NMDC Q4 Results: Profit Falls 22%; Dividend Declared

The company declares a final dividend of Re 1 per share for the financial year 2024-25.

NMDC Ltd.'s consolidated net profit fell 21.8% in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2025, according to an exchange filing on Tuesday.

The firm posted a bottom line of Rs 1,483.18 crore as compared to Rs 1,896.66 crore in the year-ago period, it said.

  • Revenue up 6.6% to Rs 7,004.59 crore versus Rs 6,567.83 crore

  • Ebitda down 13.5% to Rs 2,051.11 crore versus Rs 2,372.01 crore

  • Margin narrows to 29.3% versus 36.1%

  • Net profit down 21.8% to Rs 1,483.18 crore versus Rs 1,896.66 crore

NMDC Dividend 2025

The mineral public sector undertaking declared a final dividend of Re 1 per share. The dividend will have a face value of Re 1 each for the financial year 2024-25.

It is subject to approval of the shareholders in the upcoming annual general meeting. The final dividend, post approval, will be paid to shareholders within 30 days from the date of AGM.

This is along with the existing initial interim dividend of Rs 2.3 per equity share already declared and paid during the financial year.

The firm will disburse Rs 879 crore in dividend payouts to its shareholders. Retail investors will be paid upto Rs 92 crore via dividend from the company.

Shares of NMDC closed 0.68% lower at Rs 72.74 apiece on the NSE, compared to a 0.7% fall in the benchmark Nifty. The stock has fallen 16.90% in the last 12 months and rose 10.35% on a year-to-date basis.

Thirteen out of 23 analysts tracking the company, have a 'buy' rating on the stock, four recommend 'hold' and six suggest 'sell', according to Bloomberg data. The average of 12-month analysts' price target implies a potential downside of 0.1%.
