Delhi Police Traffic Advisory: Delhi-Mumbai Expressway Construction To Disrupt Movement On These Routes
Delhi Traffic Police said that commute will be affected at the Kalindi Kunj Junction, asking travellers to follow its advisory.

In view of the ongoing construction of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, the Delhi Traffic Police on Thursday issued a traffic advisory for commuters travelling via the Kalindi Kunj Junction. In a post on X, Delhi Traffic Police said that regular commutes will be affected at the Kalindi Kunj Junction and travellers to follow its advisory.
“Due to construction of Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, traffic will be affected on Kalindi Kunj Junction. Kindly follow the advisory,” it said.

The Delhi-Mumbai Expressway as well as a bridge at Agra Canal Road is expected to undergo construction for the next two months, DTP said.
“Due to this, significant traffic congestion has been observed at Kalindi Kunj Junction, especially as commuters from adjoining states pass through the area,” it noted.
The DTP further asked the general public to plan their journey accordingly and take alternate routes to avoid any delays in their commute.
Delhi-Mumbai Expressway Construction: DTP Advisory For General Public
The DTP asked commuters to avoid the Kalindi Kunj junction area during peak hours to avoid delays. Here is the list of instructions the traffic department issued for general public.
Commuters travelling from Faridabad to Noida are advised to take Mathura Road and Road No. 13-Noida to bypass the congested area.
Commuters travelling from Noida to Delhi are advised to use the DND Flyover to avoid traffic congestion.
Plan your journey well in advance and ensure sufficient time for travel.
Public transport is highly recommended to reduce congestion on the roads.
Avoid roadside parking to ensure smoother traffic flow.

Delhi-Mumbai Expressway
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari earlier this month said that the construction of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway is likely to be completed within the next two months. After the expressway opens to the public, travel time between Delhi and Mumbai will come down to 12 hours from the present 24 hours.
