Live News Update: Covid-19 Cases Rise Above 1,000
The number of the Covid-19 cases across the country reached 1,110, reported NDTV. The highest number of patients were reported in Kerala at 430, followed by 210 cases were reported in Maharashtra, 104 in Delhi, 83 in Gujarat and 69 in Tamil Nadu.
For the past week, an average of 145 new cases are being reported from across the country every day.

Live News Update: Indian Stock Market Ends Higher
Both the Nifty and Sensex indices saw a positive close, each gaining 0.5% for the day. This upward movement was reflected across broader markets as well, with the Nifty Midcap 150 and Nifty Smallcap 250 also increasing by approximately 0.5%.
Leading the charge within the Nifty were Bajaj Auto and JSW Steel, emerging as the top gainers. In the Nifty Midcap 150, Linde India and Timken India were the standout performers, while BEML and Finolex Industries led the gains in the Nifty Smallcap 250.
