Voltas Ltd. has notified the stock exchanges that a meeting of its board of directors is scheduled for Wednesday, May 7, 2025. During this meeting, the board will review and approve the audited financial results of the company, both standalone and consolidated, for the fourth quarter and the full financial year ended Mar. 31.
In addition to discussing the results, the board will also consider the recommendation of a dividend, if any, for the financial year.
Voltas Q4 Results: Trading Window Closure
Voltas Ltd. has informed the stock exchanges that the trading window for dealing in its equity shares was closed on March 25, 2025. The window will remain shut until 48 hours after the declaration of the company's audited financial results for the year ended Mar. 3. This is in line with the company's code of conduct for the prevention of insider trading.
Voltas Q3 Results
Voltas Ltd. reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 110.4 crore for the October-December 2024 quarter, compared to a net profit of Rs 95.9 crore in the same period in 2023. The loss was primarily due to a provision of Rs 137 crore made for an overseas project.
Despite the setback on the profitability front, the company's revenue rose by 12% year-on-year to Rs 2,005.6 crore. But earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) declined by 51% to Rs 76.4 crore, with margins contracting to 3.8% from 8.7% in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
