The GIFT Nifty was trading above 23,700 early Friday, ahead of the RBI Monetary Policy Committee meeting. The futures contract based on the benchmark Nifty 50 rose 0.23% or 55 points at 23,722.50 as of 7:30 a.m., indicating a likely higher start at market open.
