Shares of Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. are poised for the Rs 14,000 mark, as per Bank of America, with the counter already posting over 10% rally this year, after ending 2024 on a sour note. The automaker rallied as much as 3.84% on Wednesday after the brokerage upgraded the stock to 'buy'. The target price by BofA indicates an upside of 19.2% from Tuesday's close.
The stock is up 2.4% at Rs 12,021.
Adani Green Energy ⬆️
The surge in Adani Green Energy comes after its step-down subsidiary Adani Renewable Energy Forty Eight Ltd. commissioned 57.2 MW wind power component at Khavda project. With commissioning of this plant, the company’s total operational renewable generation capacity increases to 11,666 MW.
The stock is up 3.7% at Rs 1,044.
Shoppers Stop ⬆️
Shoppers Stop Ltd.'s share price surged as much as 11% in early trade on Wednesday, after strong third-quarter earnings.
The company's revenue from operations on a consolidated basis increased by 11.5% year-on-year to Rs 1,379 crore. Net profit surged 42% to Rs 52 crore, against Rs 37 crore in the year ago period.
The stock is up 2.17% at Rs 633.65.
NBCC ⬆️
NBCC India Ltd. on Wednesday announced it's order book has hit the Rs 1 lakh crore-mark on consolidated basis. This comes after it secured multiple orders worth Rs 405 crore.
The stock is up 3.4% at Rs 86.98.
Indian Overseas Bank ⬇️
Indian Overseas Bank's share price recorded its worst fall since June 4, 2024 on Wednesday, after the stock saw a one-day rise on Tuesday. Before Tuesday, the stock had fallen consecutively in four sessions, in which it lost 11%.
The stock is down 6.5% at Rs 50.30.
Axis Bank ⬇️
Shares of Axis Bank Ltd. were trading lower on Wednesday, a day before it released its third quarter financial results. The lender is expected to post a net profit of Rs 6,132 crore, up 32% year-on-year.
The stock is down 2.4% at Rs 1,026.8.
