Adani Green Energy Ltd.'s share price rose 5.41% intraday to Rs 942 as the company posted a strong business update for financial year 2025. Energy sales rose 28% year-on-year to 27,969 million units, while operational capacity grew 30% to 14.2 GW.
Ashoka Buildcon
Ashoka Buildcon Ltd.'s share price jumped nearly 6% to Rs 197 apiece after the company emerged as the lowest bidder for a Rs 568.86 crore order from Central Railway. The engineering, procurement, and construction contract involves major and minor bridge work and must be completed in 30 months.
Dr. Reddy's Laboratories
Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.'s share price rose nearly 4% to Rs 1,151.4 per share after the company denied media reports suggesting a 25% reduction in workforce costs. In an exchange filing, it said the claims were “factually incorrect” and there is no such development.
BSE
BSE Ltd.'s share price surged 5.41% intraday to Rs 5,950 a share, extending gains for a second straight session. The stock has now jumped 8% since announcing a 2:1 bonus issue in March—its second such bonus issue in three years.
ICICI Bank
ICICI Bank Ltd.'s share price was up as much as 3% to Rs 1,351 apiece, after the lender said it will consider a fundraise via debt at its April 19 board meeting. It may issue non-convertible debentures or offshore bonds, and also consider a debt buyback.
Tata Power
Tata Power Company Ltd.'s share price surged 4.42% to Rs 380.55 per share after its subsidiary signed a Rs 4,500 crore Power Purchase Agreement with NTPC. The deal is for a 200 MW firm and dispatchable renewable energy project under Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd.
