GMR Airport and TVS Motor
Dealers indicate that there are buy flows on the domestic institutional desk on both these counters in trade today. There is a large interest among high-net-worth individuals, as they have been accumulating both the counters at lower levels.
Genus Power
Dealers indicate that large HNIs are accumulating Genus Power in anticipation of a strong Q4. The company will be reporting its results on May 30.
Eternal
As per dealers, Eternal’s foreign portfolio limit has gone live on the NSDL site at 49.5%. However, given that there has been no update from NSDL on the same, it implies that the limit is not reached (red flag) yet and may temporarily lift some overhang of MSCI immediate deletion.
Also dealers indicate that the block deal of Ant Financial might happen soon, which should also free up some more of the FPI limit. It is expected to be a clean-out trade, and demand is said to be quite strong.
Whirlpool
The buzz on the street is that Reliance Industries might be a potential buyer of the promoter’s stake in Whirlpool. The global parent owns a 51% stake in Whirlpool of India.
