Hyundai Motor India said its wholesales rose to 50,340 units, as compared to 48,246 units in November 2024, registering a growth of 4%.
Toyota Kirloskar Motor said that its total dispatches to dealers rose by 28% year-on-year to 33,752 units in November. Similarly, Kia India reported a 24% year-on-year rise in sales at 25,489 units in November as against 20,600 units in the same month last year.
Banerjee stated that with demand expected to remain strong, the company is trying to augment production and expects the industry to log in a growth of 5-6% in the current fiscal.
Taking second spot, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles reported a dispatch of 57,436 units in the domestic market, registering a growth of 22% as compared to 47,063 units sold a year ago.
Overall sales, including LCV Super Carry, in the domestic market rose 21% to 1,74,593 units. It is the company's highest-ever in any November during the last 40 years.
The carmaker said that it witnessed sales growth in all segments, including small cars and SUVs, last month. Maruti Suzuki India Senior Executive Officer, Marketing & Sales, Partho Banerjee, said retail growth was even better, at 31% year-on-year, in November.
With demand continuing to be strong post the festive season, leading automakers, Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors and Mahindra & Mahindra, saw robust growth in sales in November as compared to the same month last year.
Maruti Suzuki India reported the best-ever total sales, including exports, last month at 2,29,021 units, a year-on-year growth of 26% as compared to November last year.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor on Monday said its dispatches to dealers rose 19% year-on-year to 30,085 units in November.
The company sold 25,182 units in November 2024.
Maruti Suzuki posted its highest ever exports in November with over 46,000 vehicles exported, said Rahul Bharti, Senior Executive Officer, Corp Affairs. E Vitara is seeing great demand and over 10,000 E Vitara were exported to 26 countries.

The momentum in tractor sales is expected to continue in November and the rest of the fiscal year, with M&M, a leader in this space, raising the FY26 growth guidance for the industry to 10-12% versus 7-9% earlier.
The overall demand sentiment remains strong, supported by improved rural liquidity and healthier cash flows.
Between April and October this year, both M&M and Escorts Kubota have grown well, showing an 18% and 11% growth in sales. For November, both companies are expected to post 8% growth in sales compared to last year.
The recent GST rate cuts, which reduced the rate for certain vehicles from 28% to 18%—leading to at least a 10% price reduction—have ignited growth across the Indian auto sector, particularly in the lower CC bike and small car segments. The small car space, which had lagged due to the increased cost of mandated safety and BS6 emission norms combined with stagnant consumer income, is now seeing a strong revival, positioning Maruti Suzuki as a major beneficiary with an expected growth of over 16% in November.
