New Delhi: Welspun Enterprises Ltd on Tuesday said its board of directors will meet later this week to consider a buyback of equity shares.
"A meeting of the Board of Directors of the company is scheduled to be held on December 22, 2016, inter alia, to consider the option to buy back the equity shares of the company," Welspun Enterprises Ltd said in a filing to the BSE.
At 2:38 p.m., shares in Welspun Enterprises were trading 8.73 per cent higher at Rs 64.75 apiece on the BSE, whose benchmark Sensex index was down 0.20 per cent.
