Rupee Ends 0.29% Higher

The Indian rupee ended 0.29% higher at 75.31 against the U.S. dollar.

The domestic equity market logged the worst day in more than two weeks, dragged by financials.

Crude remained at $105 a barrel.

Rupee Holds On To Gains

The Indian rupee held on to gains in the afternoon trade.

The equity market continued to trade with losses, and crude stayed at $105 a barrel.

Rupee Extends Gains

The Indian rupee built on opening gains to trade 0.19% higher at 75.41 against the greenback.

The Indian equity market, however, continues to trade with losses. Crude prices are at $105 a barrel.

Rupee Opens 0.1% Higher

The Indian rupee opened 0.1% higher at 75.48 against the U.S.

The Indian equity market, however, opened flat before slipping into losses. Crude prices were trading at $105 a barrel.

Rupee Ended 0.32% Higher On Monday

The Indian rupee closed 0.32% higher at 75.54 against the U.S. dollar, in line with the equity market that logged its best day in a month on Monday.

Crude oil prices rose to $105 a barrel from $103 amid possibilities of a fresh wave of sanctions by the U.S. and Europe on Russia for alleged atrocities against civilians by its forces in Ukraine.
