Indian Railways cancel, terminate or reschedule trains on a daily basis owing to a host of factors. Central Railway, one of the divisions of railways, informed about the list of rescheduled trains on microblogging website Twitter. Lately, the services of the railways have been hit by heavy monsoon rains. In cases of a cancellation of a train, IRCTC or Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation, the ticketing arm of Indian Railways, allows refund via online and offline modes in case of a regular train ticket.
Here is the full list of trains cancelled or rescheduled by Indian Railways:
11053 LTT-Azamgarh Express sch dep 1640 hrs on 1.8.2018 is RESCHEDULED at 1900 hrs on 1.8.2018 (Delay by 2 hours 20 minutes). Inconvenience caused is regretted.
LTT-Azamgarh has been rescheduled today, informed Central Railway.
12107 LTT-Lucknow Express sch dep 1625 hrs on 1.8.2018 is RESCHEDULED at 1830 hrs on 1.8.2018 (Delay by 2 hours 05 minutes). Inconvenience caused is regretted.
LTT-Lucknow Express has also been rescheduled today, tweeted Central Railway.

The minister said that between April and June, the punctuality of trains was affected due to large scale maintenance work being carried out on the tracks. He said railways took 4.6 lakh hours for such work during April-June 2018 as against 4.11 lakh hours during the same period in 2017. It is 11.89 per cent more than the last year.
