IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd said promoter entities have pledged more than 4.3 crore shares of the company.
Virendra D Mhaiskar jointly with Deepali V Mhaiskar have pledged 2.8 crore shares as on May 7 and their overall holding came down to 25.20 per cent, according to a regulatory filing.
Further, Virendra D Mhaiskar (HUF) pledged 4.2 lakh shares of the company.
Post pledging, this promoter's holding was reduced to 23.59 per cent as of yesterday.
The promoter entities have pledged the shares with Kotak Mahindra Ltd and Barclays Investments and Loans Ltd, the filing said. In a separate filing, the firm said that another promoter entity Dattatray P Mhaiskar pledged over 1.18 crore shares on May 4. Shares of the company closed marginally up at Rs 120.15 on the BSE.
