Mumbai: Entertainment firm Eros International Media on Thursday reported a 32.87 per cent decline in consolidated net profit at Rs 62.99 crore for the fiscal second quarter that ended on September 30, 2016.
The company had posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 93.83 crore for the corresponding period a year ago, it said in a statement.
Total income from operations on a consolidated basis stood at Rs 478.79 compared to Rs 504.91 crore in the year-ago period.
On a standalone basis, the company's net profit declined 19.72 per cent to Rs 47.59 crore, as against Rs 59.28 crore in the corresponding period last year.
Total income from operations on a standalone basis stood at Rs 439.73 crore, as against Rs 441.47 crore in the year-ago period, it added.
