FMCG firm Dabur India Ltd said on Thursday that it has acquired its vendor Northern Aromatics Ltd's manufacturing facility in Pantnagar, Uttarakhand on a slump sale basis for Rs 15 crore.
The acquisition includes Northern Aromatics' Pantnagar manufacturing facility, all assets and liabilities, the FMCG firm said in a filing to the BSE.
"The company has agreed to purchase the business undertaking (including manufacturing facility and all assets and liabilities relatable to the said facility) situated at Pantnagar, Uttarakhand from Northern Aromatics on a slump sale basis at a consideration of Rs 15 crore," the filing added.
Dabur said the facility will be used to manufacture its food products, ayurvedic medicines and cosmetics.
"Agreement to sell in this respect has been executed on November 18, 2013."
