(Bloomberg) -- French presidential candidate Emmanuel Macron said that the U.K. is finding out that exiting the European Union is “no walk in the park” and pledged to work closely with other governments in the bloc to ensure coherent talks if he is elected on Sunday.
“The EU has one negotiator” in Brexit talks and I don't want to interfere with that, the candidate told journalists after a factory visit in Albi, southern France.
Macron, 39, is the the front-runner in the second round of France's presidential election with a lead of roughly 20 points over rival Marine Le Pen. The vote is scheduled for Sunday.
