SpiceJet Under DGCA Financial Scrutiny, Says Ram Mohan Naidu

Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu said SpiceJet is undergoing financial scrutiny by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation as the airline continues to face financial and operational challenges. Responding to a question from NDTV Profit, Naidu said the government is engaging with SpiceJet to facilitate matters, while noting that the airline is privately owned. He said Rs 150 crore has already been disbursed to SpiceJet and that the airline needs to work with banks to address its financial issues. Naidu also stressed that passengers should not face disruptions and that safety should not be compromised as the airline works to improve its operations.
