Apple's upcoming iPhone 18 Pro has reportedly entered production ahead of its expected September launch. The new Pro model is tipped to feature Apple's next-generation A20 Pro chip, which is expected to use TSMC's 2nm manufacturing process. Apple has not yet officially confirmed the production report, launch date or specifications.
iPhone 18 Pro Expected Launch
TelecomTalk, citing information around Apple's upcoming flagship, reported that production of the iPhone 18 Pro has begun ahead of its expected launch. Several recent reports also point to a September 2026 launch for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max.
Apple is yet to announce an official date. Apple is also expected to change its usual iPhone launch schedule this year. Reports suggest the Pro models could arrive in September, while the standard iPhone 18 may be pushed to 2027.

A20 Pro Chip Could Be Major Upgrade
The biggest expected range could be inside the phone. The iPhone 18 Pro is tipped to use the A20 Pro chip manufactured on TSMC's 2nm process. The move to a smaller process is expected to improve performance and power efficiency compared with the current generation.
Some reports have suggested sizeable gains in performance and power efficiency, but these figures are based on leaks and should not be treated as confirmed specifications.
iPhone 18 Pro Expected Price
Apple has not announced the India price. The Economic Times has reported that leaks indicate a possible Rs 5,000 to Rs 20,000 increase over the previous generation, depending on the model and storage variant. TelecomTalk, meanwhile, has reported a possible starting price of around Rs 1.5 lakh in India.
These figures remain unconfirmed. The final price and specifications are expected to be revealed when Apple officially launches the iPhone 18 Pro.
Expected Camera And Display Changes
The iPhone 18 Pro is also expected to receive changes to its camera and front design. Reports from MacRumors and other outlets point to a smaller Dynamic Island, while a variable-aperture main camera has also been widely tipped for the Pro models.
However, details around features such as under-display Face ID remain uncertain, with reports differing on whether Apple will introduce the technology with this generation.
