Slim smartphones are increasingly being talked about especially after Samsung teased the Galaxy S25 Edge recently. And there is another top tech major, Apple, that has a thin smartphone of its own in-the-works and it is even more appropriately named - the iPhone 17 Air. With the interest in it skyrocketing, the upcoming iPhone 17 Air's looks have just been leaked by weis_studio via a concept render, which has compiled all the rumours and leaks on it so far into a video.

The iPhone 17 Air smartphone appears to be quite thin, just 5.5 millimeters, and looks exceptionally attractive. The thin nature means there will not be too much space for a lot of the hardware and this means there is just a 'single-lens' back camera on the smartphone unlike iPhone 16's 2 cameras and iPhone 16 Pro's three. The camera set up has an upraised bar design, which makes it look quite different from any current iPhone.

Notably, the iPhone 17 Air may be Apple's thinnest iPhone yet.

As far as the iPhone 17 Air launch is concerned, then it could be unveiled alongside the rest of the iPhone 17 family in September, 2025 (The Fall period). According to various reports, the phone may have a 6.6-inch OLED display with ProMotion technology and a 120Hz refresh rate. This would make it the first non-Pro model offering this feature. If this comes to pass, it would also ensure the build-up of great interest in the phone among potential buyers.

Leaks have also hinted at iPhone 17 Air price. It is being surmised it could well be rolled out at the price of Rs 89,900, similar to the price of the iPhone 16 Plus, which Apple is expected to kill off.

Since iPhone 16 Plus sales haven't really been anywhere near great, Apple has chosen to take some active steps to try and boost fans' interest with a fresh smartphone launch in the form of the "Air".
