Harmanpreet Kaur today became the most-capped player in women's international cricket. India's WODI-winning captain achieved the milestone during India's second T20I match against Australia played at the Manuka Oval in Canberra on Feb. 19, 2026.

The match was her 356th international match. Harmanpreet broke the record of New Zealand's Suzie Bates, who has featured in 355 international games.

Harmanpreet debuted for India in March 2009 and has since played six Tests, 161 ODIs and 189 T20Is. She has accumulated 200 runs in Tests, 4,409 runs in the ODIs and 3,820 runs in T20Is.

Here is a look at the five-most capped players in women's international cricket.

The landmark match though turned into a disappointment for Harmanpreet as Australia beat India by 19 runs. Australia batted first and scored 163/5 thanks to Georgia Voll's knock of 88 off 57 balls. Voll was well supported by Beth Mooney who hit 46 from 39 balls.

India were poor in chase and except for Harmapreet and Smriti Mandhana, no other batter managed to score over 30. India could manage only 144/9 in 20 overs. Australia levelled the three-match series 1-1. The final WT20I is on Feb. 21 in Adelaide.
