The Crew And Mission Details
The Crew-10 mission will be led by NASA astronaut Anne McClain, who will serve as commander. She will be joined by Nichole Ayers as the pilot, while JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) astronaut Takuya Onishi and Roscosmos cosmonaut Kirill Peskov will serve as mission specialists.
The four astronauts will travel aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket and Dragon spacecraft called Endurance. Once they reach the ISS, they will carry out research, perform maintenance and participate in various space exploration-related experiments.

Weather officials from the US Space Force 45th Weather Squadron predict over a 95% chance of favourable conditions for liftoff. However, teams continue to monitor potential weather challenges over the Atlantic coast, including winds and precipitation in specific areas.
Sunita Williams' return to Earth
Once Crew-10 reaches the ISS, they will undergo a brief handover period with NASA's Crew-9 team, ensuring a smooth transition of responsibilities. Following this, NASA astronauts Nick Hague, Sunita Williams, Butch Wilmore and Roscosmos cosmonaut Aleksandr Gorbunov will return to Earth aboard the Crew-9 SpaceX Dragon spacecraft. The Crew-10 mission is the next step as NASA gears up for the return of the Starliner crew.
Williams and Wilmore had originally planned a 10-day mission in June 2024. However, they were stranded aboard the ISS for nearly 10 months due to technical difficulties with their initial spacecraft. They are now expected to return to Earth by Mar. 16.
